Della-Marie Shirota, CCS
Della is the founder of CCS Medical Auditing, Billing & Coding, LLC. The decision to start this business was born out of the desire to help local physicians, and the experience of assisting her own physician with his auditing needs.
She has over 10 years of experience in coding for hospitals and physician offices, and over 20 years working in Health Information Management. Her expertise in this field has proven to be invaluable to both acute care hospitals and physician offices.
She holds an AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential and is also trained in DRG validation. Her education includes ICD-10-CM & PCS, Medical Terminology, Human Anatomy, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology and Medical Transcription.

Harlan Seo, CCS
Harlan is a coding specialist with many years of management and financial experience before transitioning into the HIM coding field. He has experience in outpatient diagnostic radiology coding. He is also proficient in Japanese.
In over 20 years of working in hospitals, he has served as accountant, patient financial services manager and fiscal management officer. He received numerous employee recognitions & the employee of the year award in 2000. He also has nearly 10 years of experience in computer programming.
He holds an AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential.
He has continued to further his education after graduating from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (BA Mathematics, BS Computer Science) by passing courses in Healthcare Accounting from Indiana University and completing the AHIMA Coding Basics Course.
He feels he is giving back to the community by helping to teach judo at the local dojo.
June Y. Daimaru, CCS
June has nearly 20 years of experience coding for acute care and critical access hospitals. Types of accounts coded include primarily acute inpatients with experience in long term care, observation, same day surgery, emergency room and various outpatient services. She also has over 20 years working in Health Information Management.
She holds an AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential and has experience in DRG validation.
Dalyne Shirota, CCS-P
Our youngest medical certified coder, Dalyne, grew up in Hilo, Hawaii.
At the age of 24 she has nearly 5 years of experience in multi-specialty outpatient coding.
She holds a Certified Coding Specialist Physician Base (CCS-P) through AHIMA. She is a graduate of Hilo High School. Dalyne continued to further her education at Hawaii Community College and graduated in 2019.
